Dec 7, 2009 - i think the idea of the research they are doing with the chip, is to find more than just parallel processing efficiencies... imagine you had a LAN with a file server, web server, media server, 1+ application servers, a cluster of Linux data crunchers, etc... you can have this LAN all on 1 chip... and perhaps have not only a virtual network, but parallel processing across the elements of that network... a marriage of cluster architecture & parallel processing on a chip (?) ...will be interesting
