May 11, 2010 - I have a 08 Gixxer 750 too. The mode select switch does not change the class of the bike. It only leans the fuel air mixture with three selectable maps that are pre-installed from the factory. With a leaner fuel mixture it just makes the bike sluggish from the throttle input. Not busting on you bro just hear a lot of people on youtube saying it changes the class of bike. The bike is the same the power is still there just sluggish in mode C and B.

May 15, 2010 - @antonyM2007 both the 600 and 750 are great bikes. It depends on what you want. The two bikes are 90% the same bike. Same frame same motor just bored and stroked. All the guts and suspension are the same. So you are going to get a little better acceleration and top end on the 750 but are you really going to push it that hard to notice the difference. I got a 750 as my first bike and I have never looked back.
