Nov 12, 2009 - A smart guy like Linux would understand the value of phonetic pronunciation. Hence the reasoning that a word may be pronounced differently in the context of a different language. Fine example being oo-boon-too. If my native tongue was Swahili, maybe, but in English it's oo-bun-too. or even you-bun-too. Just ask a Japanese guy how Slackware is pronounced. As long as you know what he's talking about, does it matter?
